“The very best table top baseball game!” Here’s your chance to manage a baseball team. The game models the decisions that a field manager makes with surprising realism. This simulation of our “National Pastime” is quite accurate, with just the right amount of detail. Yet a typical game lasts just over an hour. The player cards in the game all have fictitious names like “Ernie ‘Hot Dog’ Bunze” but their assigned skills represent those of professional ball players. The “Diamonds, Basic Edition” game supports 4 teams (2 or 4 gamers) — and here is the scenario for game playing: It’s the end of the regular season and these 4 teams are the division leaders. Your team will be playing in the playoffs. You’ll set the lineup for your team, pick the starting pitcher, and manage the game in progress. This game is a lot of fun whether you are a baseball enthusiast or you just welcome a great gaming experience.

The basic game package includes: 4 Diamond Cards (ball parks),
pre-named player cards for four 25 man teams + extras, a sheet of markers (you cut out with scissors), 2 “Play Ball Cards”, 2 “Heads Up Cards”, 2 “Response Cards”, 2 “Dugout Cards”, 2 sets of 4 “Batter Up Cards”, “Clubhouse Card”, 2 different “Chalkboard” strategy cards, and 4 dice.

The “Diamonds, League Edition” (not shown) is specifically designed for game club activities. The rules are the same but the game set includes 6 teams instead of 4 teams as in the “Basic Edition”, but does not include dice. And, player cards are not pre-named so that gamers can write in player names on the cards.
